A Question: Please
feel free to submit a question to any one of our experts. Q: I have heard about a very effective natural fat loss alternative to losing body weight without having to go to the doctor for perscription drugs that has bad side effects. I think it comes from oranges, but I am not sure. I have heard your fat loss supplement contains it. What is it?A: xIn
Australia, 50% of women and 66% of men are regarded as overweight, with
this figure increasing everyday. Excessive consumption of dietary Carbohydrates
because of misleading dieticians, processed and fast foods have increased
Obesity to an all time high - Simple Sugars such as Glucose and Sucrose
plus high glycemic foods have especially exacerbated Obesity (by substituting
for dietary Fats and body fat in the body's production of Energy). Dietary
Carbohydrates that are not used in the production of Energy are eventually
stored as body fat. It has been scientifically proven that the most powerful fat loss supplement is one that increases the Thermogenesis of the body. Heat can be quantified using a variety of physical units of measure, one of which is the calorie. Thermogenesis is the term used to describe the "burning" of calories from fat stored in your body to increase body temperature and provide Energy to the body. It has been found that a substance called Synephrine can increase the Thermogenesis of our body quite effectively. Synephrine is a constituent of Citrus aurantium, also known as Bitter Orange. It comes from the peel of Oranges. But before you go eating orange peel; The quantity of Synephrine in the parts of Oranges normally eaten is almost negligible (i.e. approximately 0.000001%). Therefore it is usually necessary to purchase Citrus aurantium supplements (standardized in terms of their Synephrine content) in order to obtain any meaningful quantity of Synephrine.
Thermogenesis is the generation of heat, especially by physiological
processes. In the human body, thermogenesis occurs primarily by a series
of chemical reactions in which carbon dioxide and water are produced from
fat . The reactions liberate thermal energy (heat) - some of which is
dissipated to the outside world, along with the carbon dioxide and water.
This loss occurs mainly via our lungs, skin, and excretory systems. Synephrine
increases Thermogenesis in our bodies therefore increasing the rate at
which our body uses fat as energy. An increase in Thermogenesis goes “hand-in-hand”
with increasing the Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). It has also been found
that adding caffeine and salicin to Synephrine, amplifies its effects
and keeps it working longer.
Back to TopQ: On the Xtreme Cuts and Xtreme Energy label it has a warning about Phenylketonurics and to seek medical advice if symptoms persist. What is Phenylketonurics and should I be concerned about it?A: Phenylketonurics
or Phenylketonuria (PKU) is a genetic disorder that is characterized by
an inability of the body to utilize the essential amino acid, phenylalanine.
Amino acids are the building blocks for body proteins. 'Essential' amino
acids can only be obtained from the food we eat as our body does not normally
produce them. In 'classic PKU', the enzyme that breaks down phenylalanine,
phenylalanine hydroxylase, is completely or nearly completely deficient.
This enzyme normally converts phenylalanine to another amino acid, tyrosine.
Without this enzyme, phenylalanine and its' breakdown chemicals from other
enzyme routes, accumulate in the blood and body tissues. Although the
term 'hyperphenylalaninemia' strictly means elevated blood phenylalanine,
it is usually used to describe a group of disorders other than classic
PKU. These other disorders may be caused by a partial deficiency of the
phenylalanine breakdown enzyme or the lack of another enzyme important
to the processing of this amino acid. A normal blood phenylalanine level
is about 1 mg/dl. In classic PKU, levels may range from 6 to 80mg/dl,
but are usually greater than 30mg/dl. Levels are somewhat less in the
other disorders of hyperphenylalaninemia. Chronically high levels of phenylalanine
and some of its breakdown products can cause significant brain problems.
Classic PKU is the most common cause of high levels of phenylalanine in
the blood. Back to TopQ: I have found when I take Xtreme Cuts, my trips to the toilet increase. ( Makes me pee more.) Is this normal and should I be worried about this?A: In
some people it may be normal and you have nothing to worry about. One
of the effects of taking Xtreme Cuts is that it increases your metabolism
and the rate in which you burn body fat. One of the main by-products of
fat metabolism is carbon dioxide and water. The carbon dioxide is expelled
through your lungs while the excess water produced can be expelled either
through your skin as sweat or be transported into your bladder to be excreted
as urine. Because of the increase in energy expenditure you also have
an increase in by-products resulting from the burning of those calories.
This can increase the number of trips to the toilet. It is totally natural
and there is nothing to worry about. But remember any fluids that are
lost also contain electrolytes. We recommend while on Xtreme Cuts to keep
your fliud and electrolyte levels up. This can be easily done by having
a small drink of NANO HPC during exercise. Back to Top |
