The Max-IT IRON BLASTER Training Program follows on from the highly successful original 52 week Max-IT Training Program. It now replaces that original program, with updated exercises and movements that combine the latest in training research to give you the best weight training program that has ever been developed. Movements that are 9-12 rep sets, but your body only thinks they are 3 rep sets. The science behind this is that your muscles are always working pure anaerobically, even though you are doing 9 reps in a set which would normally mean your muscles are switching from pure anaerobic to oxidative phosphorylation energy cycles. By training this way you can increase the anaerobic threshhold of the muscle for longer which will not only help you increase in strength and stamina but also help preserve muscle protein stores and activate genetic signalling for muscle growth.

 

It is not going to be an easy road for any of you; to get to this level of training it takes a lot of determination and passion for the sport; if you don’t have it you’ll never finish the 52 weeks. It wasn’t easy for me to get to this level of such high intensity training. A big help for me to get such a discipline comes from 15 years of hard training under strict rules of the communist regime.


Being born in one of the ex-communist countries from East Europe, I have been training since I was 5 years old. From day one, training under the rules of that regime, the discipline and determination had to be respected any time. If you didn’t have the mind set to became the No.1 athlete in the world, you wouldn’t be allow to step into the gym. The next day, other athletes would have taken your spot. You had to be switched on, day and night, like a lion in the jungle in order to survive. After so many years of training under that regime you can’t change; the discipline and determination of succeeding will stay with you forever.

This is the type of training I do 12 weeks out of my bodybuilding competitions. The closer I get to the competition stage, the more intense the training becomes.
