with HUMANOFORT;
Thymosin is a family of
naturally occurring peptides present in virtually all human and
animal cells, with Thymosin Beta 4 (Tß4) being the most bio-active
peptide. It is also found in the product Humanofort, which is sequenced
in embryonic development and contained in the extract matrix of
the humanofort material. It is a protein peptide that diminishes
with cell age, in which restoration of levels rejuvenates the cell
to function back to an optimum level as seen in a young matured
cell, preventing cell death.
It does not function as, nor is it related to any growth factor
or hormone in the body.
It is a first class peptide candidate that helps promote the following*:

One of Tß4 key mechanisms of action is its ability to regulate
the cell-building protein, Actin, a vital component of cell structure
and movement. Of the thousands of proteins present in cells, actin
represents up to 10% of the total proteins which therefore plays
a major role in the genetic makeup of the cell.
This potent peptide is a member of a ubiquitous family of 16 related
molecules with a high conservation of sequence and localization
in most tissues and circulating cells in the body. Tß4 not
only binds to actin, but also blocks actin polymerization and is
the actin-sequestering molecule in eukaryotic cells.
Tß4 was identified as a gene that was up-regulated four-to-six
fold during early blood vessel formation and found to promote the
growth of new blood cells from the existing vessels. This peptide
is present in wound fluid and when administered, it promotes wound
healing, muscle building and speeds up recovery time of muscles
fibres and their cells. It also increases endurance and strength
of muscle fibres making them function more efficiently, reducing
lactic acid build up and fatigue, enabling the muscle to continually
contract without becoming tired.
An additional key factor of Tß4 is that it promotes cell
migration through a specific interaction with actin in the cell
cytoskeleton. It has been demonstrated that a central small amino
acid long-actin binding domain has both blood cell reproduction
and wound healing characteristics. These characteristics are uncovered
by accelerating the migration of endothelial cells and keratinocytes.
It also increases the production of extracellular matrix-degrading
enzymes.
Research confirms that Tß4 is a potent, naturally occurring
wound repair factor with anti-inflammatory properties. Tß4
is different from other repair factors, such as growth factors,
in that it promotes endothelial and keratinocyte migration. It also
does not bind to the extracellular matrix and has a very low molecular
weight meaning it can travel relatively long distances through tissues.
FOLLISTATIN
Another Peptide of importance in Humanofort is the discovery of
Follistatin. In a research study published in the Journal of the
American College of Nutrition October 2006, Volume 25, Number 5,
Abstract 66, the 'Absorption profile and hormonal influences of
fertile egg yolk ingestion in the human' was analysed.
It has been established that fertile egg yolks contain significant
concentrations of Follistatin. In an effort to identify whether
this orally ingested source of naturally occurring follistatin is
actually absorbed and pharmaco-kinetically active in the human model,
this study was undertaken.
A male subject was chosen because the normal baseline male physiology
does not contain any measurable concentration of follistatin. Fertile
egg yolk powder properly processed to preserve active follistatin
was obtained. After initial blood draw and subsequent oral dose
of the egg powder extract, serum follistatin levels were qualitatively
and quantitatively measured as an indication of absorption.
In addition, since we know follistatin is a negative modulator
of Myostatin, a muscle growth blocking protein, serum myostatin
levels were also qualitatively and quantitatively measured as an
indicator of hormonal influence and thus true pharmacokinetic activity.
Testing utilised a purchased follistatin and myostatin standard
for verification. Confirmations were run by ELISA and quantitation’s
by Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometer with third degree
fragmentation.
Results showed a predicted zero level of follistatin at baseline
with a myostatin level of 46pg/ml. 12 hours after dosing of the
egg powder extract, serum follistatin increased to 57.1pg/ml while
myostatin levels dropped to 34pg/ml. 24 hours after initial dosing,
measurements were taken again, in which follistatin levels began
to predictably drop to 11.4pg/ml. Yet myostatin levels continued
to drop down to 31pg/ml.
These results clearly indicated that a fertile egg yolk powder
properly processed to preserve active follistatin, as in the Humanofort
Extract, when orally ingested, results in detectable serum follistatin
levels as well as having significant pharmaco-kinetic activity as
shown by the hormonal down-regulation of serum myostatin.
In theory, continued ingestion of the Humanofort extract would
result in substained down-regulation of serum myostatin levels,
allowing genetic pathways which involve Insulin Growth Factors such
as IGF-1 to exert their effect on stem cells and increase the rate
of new muscle tissue repair and development.

The effects of oral administrated Humanofort on steroid hormone
levels of trained rugby players.

healthy male volunteers (rugby players, ages 20-32) were separated
into three experimental groups - 8 persons in control (placebo)
group, 10 persons in the group receiving 6 capsules of Humanofort
daily and 10 persons in a group receiving 12 capsules of Humanofort
daily. In treated groups each patient received 2 (or 4) capsules
of Humanofort three times per day, 1 hour before meals. In control
group (placebo), patient received 2 capsules filled with standard
egg powder mixed with similar amounts of additives (fillers, preservatives,
anti-cakers, intestinal absorption enhancers, lubricants) as used
in Humanofort preparation. The product / placebo was administered
for three weeks. The subjects continued their normal training and
had not received steroid preparations for at least two months prior
to the Humanofort treatment.
Serum samples analysis: Serum samples, taken before
and after treatment, were assayed for steroid hormones. In order
to establish baseline values for steroid hormones, samples taken
just a day earlier to the first dose, were assayed. Samples taken
on day 21 were used in the assays for comparison, and expressed
as a percentage of baseline. In this way, the circulating levels
of various steroids were determined for each patient at the beginning
and at the end of the treatment in order to assess the effect of
Humanofort administration. Assays were performed using commercial
kits according to each manufacturer’s instructions: Nichols
Institute Diagnostics, USA (DHEA, DHEAS); Diagnostics Systems Laboratories,
USA (androstenedione, testosterone).
RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS
The influences of Humanofort administration on steroid hormones
are presented in table.1. The results clearly show that, in healthy
male volunteers, oral administration of Humanofort results in significantly
elevated levels of DHEAS and androstenedione. The testosterone level
is slightly increased, at the limit of statistical significance.

Measurements obtained at the end of the study were expressed as
a percentage of baseline levels in each human subject prior to the
first treatment with Humanofort and the Placebo Egg Powder.
As seen in the table. 1, exercise alone (Placebo) increased levels
of steroid hormones from baseline. With the addition of Humanofort,
steriod hormone levels are significantly increased with 6 capsules
a day providing the best average increase in all steriod hormones
tested.
CONCLUSION
Supplementing 6 capsules of Humanofort a day for 21 days can significantly
elevate steroid hormone levels in trained athletes. Elevated steroid
hormone levels are associated with performance enhancement, increased
protein synthesis and muscle hypertrophy.
If supplementing with other ASN NANO Technology products such as
